GEOGRAPHIC POSITION AND CLIMATE
Maanshan is the east gate of Anhui province, located at 31°17′26″N--31°46′42″N and 118°52′44″E.It is situated on the bank of the Yangtze River and close to sea, only 45KM from Nanjing. Maanshan is located in subtropical zone with temperate climate and distinct seasons. Annual rainfall is about 1100mm and annual average temperature is 15.7
