In as early as the Sui and Tang Dynasties, porcelain-making here was already well-known, and the porcelain products are described as Jade-like wares. Jingdezhen has also become a tourist attraction. Many spots to visit are connected with the porcelain-making, such as the Museum of Ceramic History, the Ancient Hutian Kiln Site, and various porcelain factories.

3)Longwei ink slabs

It is named after Shezhou Prefecture, Anhui Province, where it was first produced in the Tang Dynasty. Many counties under the jurisdiction of this prefecture produce She ink slabs, but the best come from Mount Longwei, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province. Sometimes She ink slabs are referred to as Longwei ink slabs.

4)Wuyuan Green tea

Wuyuan county in the north eastern mountainous district in Jiangxi Province has been a growing district of tea for export. Wuyuan Green tea had been a chief species in the export in 17th and 18th centuries.
