1) Craftworks made of tin
Yunnan has a rich reserve in tin. It has a long mining history. According to the recordations, it has reached more than 2000 years. Gejiu, which is located in Ailao Mount, is the famous tin city. The tin craftworks made here has a history of more than 300 years.
Tin craftworks are traditional metal craftworks. Its materials are high pure tin, which is passed through melting, pressing, cutting, polishing, installing, embellishing courses. These craftworks are exquisite in their appearance and durable in their quality. Especially the tin drinking vessels are most favourite. Using it to drink is very comfortable. With the rich practice, Gejiu tin craftworks are improved, no mater in styles or in kinds. In recent years, teapots, candleholders, cosmetics cases made of tin are produced. Lotiform lamps, censers, maids of honour, figures of buddha, white crane and cups made in tin are also produced. Tin paintings are vivid and refined. They add much setiment to the house when hanging on the wall. Gejiu tin craftworks have a famous fame both in domestic cities and in abroad countries. In recent years, its export amount is increasing. Besides usual trade, process operation is also carried out. Tin craftworks of various specifications and styles are exported according to the needs of abroad consumers.

2）Flue-cured Tobacco

Flue-cured tobacco,also named Yun tobacco or Yun Leaf,is celebrated for its high quality, rich oil, thin and greasy tissue,golden leaves, strong flexibility, moderate content of nicotine(2% content of nicotine is required internationally,3% is the best,while Yunnan flue-cured tabacco boasts its 2.14% content),high content of sugar,good combustibility,faint scent,pure taste,etc.Yunnan flue-cured was listed NO ONE in All-China Flue-Cured Tobacco Quality Appraisement '95,enjoying a high international reputation.

3）Bornite Craftwork

　　With a history of over 200 years,Yunnan bronite craftwork is a kind of special metal handicraft,holding an unique place among China's traditional craftworks.Bornite craftwork adopts high quality copper-based alloy materials and takes shape by foundry and polish thanks to the complex and strict requirement of making.It is characterised by its speckles on bronite. 4）Dai Brocade

Dai brocade,namely the baladachin of Dai nationality,is a kind of folk craftwork of Dai nationality,thus it has full-bodied local characteristics of minority.Dai Brocade boasts its refined craftwork,unique patterns,rich colors and firmness and endurance.The patterns involve rare birds and animals as well as odd flowers , grasses and geometry patterns.
　　Dai brocade is an age-old handwork weaving,,The designing of patterns are created by skilled weaving techniques,thus,the patterns are mostly single-sided.Today,the craftwork of Dai brocade is being developed and promoted on the basis of its tradition.

5）Yunnan White Powder

Yunnan White Powder is a well - known Chinese patent drug. At the beginning, it was named as " Baibao Dan " ( Hundred Treasures Drug). It has the remarkable effects off stopping bleeding, invigorating of blood circulation and eliminating of blood stasis, anti - inflammation, and clearing out the pus. It has been widely applied in treatments concerning injury and gynecological diseases.

In 1979 and 1984, Yunnan White Powder were twice awarded the Golden Medals in China.

6）Yunnan Tea

As one of three great drinks in the world together with coffee and cocoa,tea-leaf is the popular and traditional drink of people in over 100 countries in the world.Yunnan is famed as the hometown of tea leaf,having a long production history of 1700 years. The tea-leaf planting area in Yunnan is very large,the number of counties growing tealeaf accounts for 92% of the total counties of Yunnan. Various tealeaf products can be seen all over the country and are sold to Europe,the USA and southeast countries.Among them Dianhong,Puer and Tuo Tea are the most well-known for people.

7)Xuanwei Ham

As one of the famous specialities in Yunnan,Xuanwei Ham gains the name because it is made in Xuanwei county,characterised by thin husk,thick meat,sweet smell,bright colors and delicious taste.Thus, it is often called Yun Ham.

8)Yunnan Marble Products:

The reserves of Dali marble are abundant. There are more than ten kinds of Dali marble products, including relief sculpture, vertical sculpture, seating screen, hanging screen, fruit container, potted landscape, ashtray and decorative marbles.

9)Yunnan Go Chess

Yunnan Go Chess, abbreviated as " Yun Chess ", is a treasure of the go chess lovers at home and abroad. It was originally produced in a place located in Yongcang Prefecture ( now Baoshan Prefecture of Yunnan Province), it is also called by the name of " Yong Chess " .

It has a history of more than five hundred years. In both Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was an article of tribute to the Emperors. The white chess is as pure as jade while the black one is as black as agate. The chess is packed in a traditional porcelain artistic container or in a straw knitted box.

10)Jewellery and Bowlders

Thanks to the reasons of history and geography,Yunnan has formed the distribution center of jewelries and bowlders,with Kunming as its center and Tengchong, Ruili, Yingjiang and Mangshi as its support.Jewelries and bowlders companies in Kunming has topped tens of thousands.Business scope involves carbuncles, sapphires,emeralds, diamonds, garnets, tourmalines, amethysts, topazs, opals, olivines, malachites, agates,pearls and so on.

11)Silk of Chuxiong:

Boasting its refined craftwork,brightness in color and beautiful patterns,silk produced in Chuxiong enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.
The main silk products of Chuxiong Silk Factory are damask,camlet,white and soft damask,silk bedquilt,Meili silk,etc.,among them Meihua Brand white silk was honored as the Provincial Excellent Product in 1981,and Red Camellia Brand soft damask bedcovers have novel patterns,bright colors and unique styles.

12) Carpet of Banna:

Banna carpets are made in Zhaotong Carpet Factory.It gains the name because the patterns of carpets are mostly the embodiment of sceneries and customs of Xishuang Banna in Yunnan.Zhaotong teems with fleece,and Zhaotong Carpet Factory are producing over 100 varieties of sleece carpets with the high quality sleece as its material.The patterns include elephants,peacocks and other rare birds and animals,peonies and camelliaes as well.The factory's products are being marketed in Europe and the USA.

13)Feather Painting
